Insurance
Currently, I am in network with Aetna, Allegiance, BCBS-HMK, BCBSMT, Cigna, EBMS, UnitedHealth/UMC, Pacific Source, and Montana Medicaid to name a few common local insurance companies.
Insurance can be helpful to many in the community, and I want to be as helpful and affordable as possible. If you have a question regarding whether Growth Mindset can accept your insurance, please reach out.
Private pay
Benefits of Private Pay for you!
I understand not all will be able to do this option, but I wanted to provide some information as to the potential benefits if you are thinking about private pay for your therapy. I think transparency is the best policy!
With private pay no diagnosis is required to submit insurance claims nor a timeline set for how long you want or feel you need to work on your mental health. Your insurance company doesn’t dictate who you have to see, what you pay, how long you go to therapy (both in the duration of the session or the number of sessions), nor have any indication of what is going on in your personal life. It truly is anonymous as insurance companies don’t need to receive clinical documentation on behalf of the session conducted to reimburse with private pay. It allows people greater freedom to just “talk” to a therapist without worrying about justifying it to insurance or the clinician (me) justifying their need for continued sessions, or if the therapist is within their network. If you want the true freedom of privileged communication, confidentiality, and anonymity to the fullest extent, then private pay therapy may be the best option for you and your family to explore. With private pay, insurance companies cannot deny you from seeing your therapist as well as will receive no records as to any potential diagnosis, view progress notes, or limit the number of sessions you can attend. It is simply empowering by being exclusively up to you. We are going to create some self-empowerment together; private pay, if you can, and if it interests you, is the first great step!
SuperBill
If you do choose private pay, there are cases where a superbill can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement or meeting deductibles! Reach out to your insurance provider to see if they offer this option!
